MESSRING launches new CrashSoft 4 system control software

Future-proof, web-based crash system control for more efficient and future-proof crash and sled testing / Launch as part of the CrashSoft Demo Day customer event

MESSRING, the world’s leading provider of crash test technology, officially unveiled its new CrashSoft 4 (CS4) system control software at an exclusive Crash Day event held last week at the company’s headquarters in Gilching. The event attracted considerable interest from the industry, partners, and invited German customers, who were able to get a comprehensive impression of the new generation of system control software on site.

Technical functions and added value

CS4 is built on a completely new technical foundation and is no longer dependent on Microsoft. Unlike CS3, CS4 has a modular design and delivers intuitive menu navigation. The new web-based architecture brings CS4 into the present day and creates the foundation for preventive maintenance and the future use of AI models to further optimization of test procedures. For facility operators, this means technical futureproofing, operational stability, and flexibility in personnel deployment.

The new software acts as a central control platform for MESSRING crash test systems. All functions are integrated into a single application. Processes are automated, handling is simplified, and operation and maintenance are optimized. As a result, CS4 ensures greater efficiency, reliability, and reduction of unplanned downtime.

CrashSoft Demo Day: Live Demonstration and Crash Test

The live demonstration and performance of a real crash test received particular attention. Participants were able to see the user-friendliness and possibilities of the new application environment for themselves on site. The control and integration of drives, light barriers, camera systems, and safety features could be followed in real time, as well as the creation and final execution of the test. The live demonstration provided an initial first insight into the performance, precision, and reliability of CrashSoft 4 in practice.

“CrashSoft 4 is a revolution – it is a decisive step towards long-term stability and digital futureproofing in crash testing,” explained Christian Salm, Chief Sales Officer at MESSRING. “The strong interest shown by our German customers underlines the high relevance of this new platform.”

MESSRING officially launched the product with CrashSoft Demo Day. In the future, the company will support its customers in the transfer from CS3 to CS4 to ensure a smooth transition and maximum operational continuity.
