Working at Messring

Humanity. Period.

People are at the heart of what we do. Our corporate culture is characterized by respectful interaction and a genuine interest in the needs and realities of our employees’ lives. Mutual appreciation creates a positive working atmosphere and a culture of cooperation, because only together can we ensure safety and success.
Cosmopolitanism, cultural acceptance, and social responsibility shape our thinking and our activities.

Working at Messring

Diversity of personalities

We believe that diversity not only enhances, but also makes teams stronger and more successful. Different perspectives, experiences, and personalities lead to better results. The exchange of ideas creates challenges, opportunities, and success. For us, it’s not about ego or self-promotion, but about genuine enthusiasm, cooperation, and authentic commitment across different generations. Enthusiasm creates strength, which we promote individually, and an opportunity to discover talents.

Working at Messring

Room for ideas & responsibility

We provide space for ideas, courage, and independence. We highly value employees who take initiative, develop new ideas, and make use of creative freedom. Anyone who wants to take on responsibility is given the opportunity to do so—even if that means making mistakes or taking detours. We tolerate mistakes and value the learning experience they provide even more. We know and accept that failure can be part of the process. We are convinced that questioning the familiar and being open to new ideas will put us on a path to lasting success.

Working at Messring

When people and workplaces are a good fit

Not every job suits every person—and not every person suits every job. That’s why we value a mutual “best fit.” We want our employees to feel comfortable with us, contribute their strengths, and be able to develop further. We are convinced that long-term motivation comes from a combination of enthusiasm, talent, knowledge, and skill, and as a company we ensure that the right conditions are in place for this. That’s why we support individual learning paths, targeted further training, and long-term development opportunities. This creates a working relationship that is valuable for both sides in the long term.

Working at Messring

Respect is not a question of hierarchy; respect is lived!

We embrace collaboration on an equal footing—from interns to senior management. Our managers are part of the team and actively participate in day-to-day work. Every opinion counts, every contribution is taken seriously—no matter who it comes from. Anyone who needs advice or wants to give feedback will always find an open ear and honest conversation here. We all contribute to value creation, and this is reflected in everyone’s behavior. At the same time, this approach requires room for criticism. Objections can lead to improvements. The process is sometimes harmonious, sometimes controversial – but in every case, it is a step in the right direction.

We require a resume in all cases. Cover letters and references are not mandatory, but they do enhance the impression you make.

We manage your application documents digitally in an access-protected database. In doing so, we comply with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation. Your documents will be stored and used only for the purpose of your application and will, of course, be treated confidentially.

Due to legal requirements, we will only retain your documents for 6 months after completion of the application process, unless you choose to be included in our talent pool.

The files can be uploaded in the following formats:
pdf, jpeg, jpg, gif, png

Once your application has been received via our online portal, a confirmation of receipt will be sent to you. Even if you have applied by email, you will receive a confirmation of receipt.

You will usually receive initial feedback within 8 days.

You are welcome to send us any missing or updated documents by email.

You should plan 30–45 minutes for this interview with your potential team lead. The aim is to get to know each other – we want to find out about your motivation, your strengths, and your personality, and give you the opportunity to learn more about the position.

During the interview, we want to find out whether we are a good fit for each other. The interview will be attended by 1-2 people from the department and someone from Human Resources. We will let you know exactly who these people are in the invitation to the interview. The interview usually lasts around 1 to 1½ hours. We value an interview atmosphere where everyone is on equal footing. In addition to in-depth questions about your previous experience, we will ask technical questions and may give you a practical task to complete. Often, there is also an opportunity to get to know some of our employees and the company during a tour of the premises.

We express our diversity and individuality by not having a dress code. Therefore, it is best to dress for the interview as you would on a regular workday.

We will agree on an individual feedback period during our conversation. We will usually get back to you after one week. If you need feedback sooner than this, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Get your career off to a successful start and become part of MESSRING.
