- Servo-hydraulic accelerator system for tests up to 50km/h, 250kg payload and 20G
- Precise control of acceleration, speed and displacement
- One-man operation, computer-controlled, full-automatic test run
- Extremely compact
Classic accelerator sled systems for automotive applications generate force and speed of up to 3MN and 90km/h, because they are designed to handle high loads and reproduce car pulses.
However, many applications – such as WHIPLASH-tests, child seat and roof rack tests and similar – require much lower speed and the test objects are more lightweight and quite compact and the pulse is given by an international standard. As made for significantly higher energies, classic systems perform like a sledgehammer cracking a nut and are hard to be controlled accurately at low-speed applications.
MESSRING“s CIS compact impact simulator is an accelerator system specifically designed to handle the load level of low-speed and -weight applications but shows all features, capabilities and precision of a MESSRING sled or crash test facility.
