M=BUS Dummies launched in Japan

InDummy-DAS is a clever solution to reduce complex cabling in dummy applications such as a crash test and all the trouble that arises from that. The MESSRING approach goes even further than competitive solutions and integrates the DAS directly into the measurement location without affecting the dummy´s physical properties.

The National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan which follows a mission similar to the German “Stiftung Warentest” identified the MESSRING M=Bus InDummy system as the ideal solution for applications that do not allow the use of any cable or modification of the weight of a dummy such as the test of child bike seats. A Hybrid-III family (5% female, 50% male, 6 and 3 year child) was equipped with M=Bus sensors to be used for reconstruction of any kind of domestic accidents. It was even more impressive that a customer who was not familiar with data acquisition systems and transducers could start to run the test program right away. This impressively demonstrates the usability of the MESSRING M=Bus DAS system.
